From Sept. 25-28, Spokane Sport Horse hosted a USEA Classic Series event alongside their 11th Annual Fall Horse Trial. Read on to learn more about the winners!

Training Three-Day Winners | Aimee Deveaux & Pardon My French | 63.8

Aimee Deveaux, of Alberta, Canada, and her 7-year-old off-the-track Thoroughbred mare Pardon My French (Tourist x Classic Collection) took home the win in the Training Three-Day.

Bred in Kentucky, Pardon My French raced until June 2023, and Deveaux purchased her in September. They moved up to Training this year in August.

The pair rain the Novice Three-Day at Spokane last year, and Deveaux loved it. Her goal was the Training division this year. “This competition really helped develop strength, stamina, and confidence in my mare,” she said. “It helps focus on how important proper conditioning, recovery, and mental preparations are! The Three-Day put us to the test and also helped identify areas in our training that we need to improve on.”

Deveaux advised others to “have fun and enjoy all phases! And attend all talks and information sessions they put on for the competitors! I would like to thank all the organizers, officials and sponsors at Spokane Sport Horse Farm that helped make this event possible and run as smoothly as it did.”

Novice Three-Day Winners | Chloe Dunsmoor & Thetrailerguy | 34.0

Chloe Dunsmoor (Spokane, Washington) and her own 13-year-old Thoroughbred gelding (Henny Hughes x Unbridled Glory) topped the Novice division, moving up from third after dressage to finish on their starting score.

Beginner Novice Three-Day Winners | Cassidy Kappes & For The Heck Of It | 45.7

Cassidy Kappes (Bend, Oregon) and her own 12-year-old Sport Horse gelding For The Heck Of It moved up from third to take the win in the Beginner Novice division.
