SmartPak Renews Partnership as the Official Supplement Feeding System of the USEA

By Claire Kelley - USEA Staff

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is excited to welcome back SmartPak as the ‘Official Supplement Feeding System of the USEA’. SmartPak will also return as a ‘Gold Sponsor of the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC)’, a ‘Contributing Sponsor of the USEA Adult Team Championships (ATC)’, a ‘Bronze Sponsor of the USEA Classic Series’, a ‘Contributing Sponsor of the USEA Future Event Horse Series (FEH)’, and a ‘Contributing Sponsor of the USEA Young Event Horse Series (YEH)’. SmartPak will provide generous prizes to all the programs and Championships mentioned above.

SmartPak was founded in 1999 with the purpose of simplifying the administration of nutritional supplements and medications to horses. The patented SmartPak™ supplement feeding system has been adopted by thousands of barns and horse owners across the country, who value knowing that their supplements will be fed correctly. The SmartPak system has been embraced by riders from all disciplines and all levels, including seven Olympic medalists. In addition to the SmartPak supplement system, the company offers a broad line of horse health and rider items and equine pharmacy items sold through the company’s catalog and website.

“We are proud to recognize SmartPak as the Official Supplement Feeding System of the USEA,” said USEA CEO Rob Burk. “SmartPak is an extremely well-known and highly respected company among eventers. They have revolutionized the way we administer supplements and medications to our horses, and they support the needs of every horse owner. We are very grateful to continue the partnership with this wonderful company.”

The 2024 DK3DE Daily: First Horse Inspection

Lights, cameras, action! The first formal horse inspection (which some might informally refer to as "the jog") at the 2024 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event (DK3DE) takes place this afternoon at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. While this part of the event is a fan-favorite historically based on the impeccable turnout of the horses and the stylish and forward fashion choices of the riders (we are looking at you Boyd Martin in hopes that you bring back the American flag suit circa 2022), it serves a very important purpose: ensuring that each horse is fit, sound, and ready to compete at the five-star level.
