Slate River Rises to the Lead at The Fork

Slate River, owned by The Team Express Syndicate, performed exceptionally well for Heather Morris today to trot into the lead with a 28.3 in the Advanced class at The Fork Horse Trials in Norwood, North Carolina, part of the $20,000 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series. Tiana Coudray and Ringwood Magister are currently tied with Allison Springer and Arthur for second place after scoring 29.3. Phillip Dutton and Isabella II sit atop the pack in the CIC3*, part of the PRO Tour Series, while Canadian Jessica Phoenix and Exponential are second with a 51.6, and Kelly Prather and Ballinakill Glory round out the top three with 51.9.
