Sixteen Pairs Move on to Show Jumping in CIC3* and CCI3* at Rebecca Farm
The FEI veterinary inspections started bright and early this morning at The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana. In the CIC3* and CCI3* all of the horses presented for the ground jury of Angela Tucker, Marilyn Payne and Heather Buckland passed without incident. Rebecca Buehler withdrew Brighton before the jog began.
In the CCI2* there was a moment of tension when Tamra Smith’s Dempsey (currently sitting in third) was sent to the hold box and had to re-jog twice before being accepted. Smith also withdrew second-placed, Fleur de Lis, before the jog as did Amber Levine and 10th-placed, Guiness St. James' .
The CCI* lost just one horse when Patience O’Neil withdrew Hollywood Diva from the hold box. Two others (Betawave and Picture Perfect) were held but passed upon reinspection.
The CCI* show jumping is now underway with the CCI2* starting at 12:50. The CIC3* and CCI3* will be jumping together in reverse order of placing starting at 2:20.
