By Abigail Fulmer - USEA Staff | Press Release | August 18, 2026

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to welcome Rood+Riddle Equine Hospital as a Silver Level Sponsor of the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) for the next three years, supporting the championship in 2026, 2027, and 2028 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.

The American Eventing Championships bring together some of the most dedicated horse-and-rider partnerships from across the country, and the USEA is proud to partner with organizations that share its commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of every equine athlete.

As part of its partnership, Rood+Riddle will provide veterinary coverage throughout the entire week of competition. Their support will include 24-hour on-call emergency veterinary services, a fully staffed equine ambulance, on-grounds veterinary coverage, veterinary coverage of the cross-country courses on competition days, and access to Rood+Riddle’s emergency clinic should a horse need to be transported for additional care.

“Rood+Riddle is thrilled to partner with the American Eventing Championships, enhancing our engagement within the equine community through this collaboration,” said Dr. Woodrow Friend. “We are proud to work alongside this esteemed organization to deliver exceptional veterinary services to the equine community and the Kentucky Horse Park.”

With its flagship hospital located in Lexington, just down the road from the Kentucky Horse Park, Rood+Riddle’s experienced veterinary team will be an important resource for AEC competitors throughout championship week.
