Area V has lost a dear friend and long time volunteer last week, Jackie High. Jackie was a volunteer coordinator at Holly Hill for many years. She died after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer on July 13th. Services celebrating the life of Jackie were held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bossier City, LA.
Jackie requested that instead of flowers she would like donations to be sent to the Cypress Zoo and Wildlife Rescue Center in Benton, LA.

Think of the show secretary as the mastermind behind most of the organizational efforts related to each horse trial. They manage entries, the show schedule, ride times, stabling, and so much more. Without the hard work of the show secretary and their office staff, a horse trial simply would not be able to operate.
