Area V has lost a dear friend and long time volunteer last week, Jackie High. Jackie was a volunteer coordinator at Holly Hill for many years. She died after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer on July 13th. Services celebrating the life of Jackie were held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Bossier City, LA.
Jackie requested that instead of flowers she would like donations to be sent to the Cypress Zoo and Wildlife Rescue Center in Benton, LA.
