Register Now for a Classic Format Event Clinic to Benefit the DelMarVa Region Pony Club

Are you considering competing in a USEA Classic Series event or would just like to learn more?
A classic format event in eventing (or "long format") is a three-day competition featuring four phases on the cross-country day: Phases A & C (roads and tracks), Phase B (steeplechase), and Phase D (cross-country). Unlike modern short-format horse trials, it emphasizes stamina, featuring steeplechase, formal veterinary inspections, and extensive education run at the lower levels.
Alongside our upcoming DelMarVa Eventing Rally, we are running a Classic Format event clinic!
Join us from June 19-21 for a weekend of education and fun with clinicians that include Lauren Annette, Matt Brown, Valerie Pride, Steve Berkowitz, VMD, and Jane Sleeper. Also featuring talks by Phillip Dutton and Hayley Frielick. This event is run in collaboration with Fair Hill International and is made possible by a grant from the Maryland International Equestrian Foundation.
The clinic is open to the general public (not just Pony Clubbers) and there is stabling available. The clinic will be held at the Fair Hill NRMA Fairgrounds in Elkton, Maryland.
The signup for the clinic is on the DelMarVa website and is now taking registrations. There are also options to sign up for stabling and dinner. Don't wait, we expect this very popular format with these amazing clinicians will fill up quickly!
Opening Date: May 9
Closing Date: June 8
Cost: $350 + stabling
