At the conclusion of cross-country in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Advanced division at the Twin Rivers International Horse Trials, overnight leaders James Alliston and Jumbo's Jake kept their lead, adding only 5.6 time penalties to their score. Sandra Donnelly and Buenos Aires jumped up five places on the scoreboard to stand in second after producing the only double-clear round of the division, while Jennifer Wooten-Dafoe and Nabouco de Lessay moved up three positions to go into show jumping in third place.
