By USEA | October 1, 2010

The scores continue to get better and better as the competition heats up at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. After the morning session of the second day of dressage, we have a new leader: Stefano Brecciaroli of Italy aboard Apollo van de Wendi Kurt Hoeve. The pair had a breath-taking test to earn a 35.5, slipping ahead of overnight leaders Simone Deitermann (GER) & Free Easy NRW by just 0.5 points. Niklas Lindback (SWE) and Mister Pooh scored a 39.5 to take over the third spot. Mandiba performed brilliantly for U.S. team member Karen O’Connor, and they currently sit in 12th with a 44.8.
