Opening Date for 2009 Bit of Britain/USEA American Eventing Championship Only Weeks Away!
Attention eventers of all ages and levels! The opening date for the 2009 Bit of Britain/USEA American Eventing Championships is only mere weeks away. Entries will be accepted starting July 28th and the last day to send in your entries is August 25th, which is also the last day to qualify for the AEC. Not sure about qualifications? The sixth annual AEC, which takes place this year from September 10-13 will be held for the third straight year at the picturesque Lamplight Equestrian Center on the outskirts of Chicago in Wayne, Illinois, this year’s AEC is sure to be better than ever!
Amateurs, juniors, and professional riders alike can compete at any level from Beginner Novice through Advanced to test their mettle against the best in the country, and vie for exciting prizes, cash, and the chance to be named the best in the nation at their respective levels.

One of the most anticipated AEC activities will be back in full force this year…yes, that’s right, the SmartPak Canine Dog Show will once again return as the Saturday night highlight. There will be classes for biggest dog, smallest dog, best pet tricks, highest jumper, and much more. Don’t miss out on all the fun! Classes are free and entry forms and more information will be available at the USEA booth during the event.
