Leesburg, Va. – The United States Eventing Assocation (USEA) is pleased to announce that Mountain Horse has returned as a sponsor this year, keeping their title as the Official Outerwear of the USEA. Mountain Horse and the USEA have been partnering together for the past several years to provide USEA members and eventing enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase high quality Mountain Horse jackets and fleeces featuring the USEA logo.
“We are proud to sponsor the USEA once again in 2014,” said Michael Diamond, V.P. of Sales and Marketing at ERS. “Throughout the last 13 years, we’ve found the Association and their members to be hard-working, talented individuals, with high demands and expectations for their chosen products. As equestrians ourselves, our gear and clothing is a natural fit. We are proud to be the Official Outerwear of the USEA, as well as a USEA Annual Meeting and Convention Sponsor, through 2014.”
The USEA will be featuring a variety of Mountain Horse jackets and fleeces proudly displaying the USEA logo in the USEA trade fair booths at both the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** in April and the USEA American Eventing Championships in September. The logowear is also available year round on ShopUSEA.com.
“It is a pleasure to welcome back one of our most loyal sponsors, Mountain Horse,” said USEA CEO Jo Whitehouse. “I personally enjoy wearing my Mountain Horse Jacket, which has served me admirably through some cold and rainy weather over the past few years, but most important are the benefits that Mountain Horse brings to our members year after year. We look forward to a successful year ahead.”

Eventers who are new to the sport may feel a little overwhelmed by the often-misunderstood world of saddle fitting. Riders are often bombarded with information from peers online or self-described experts, putting them at risk of following bad advice related to equipment that impacts horse welfare perhaps more than any other piece of tack. Finding a qualified expert to answer these questions is crucial. Who better to turn to than both a qualified Master Saddle Fitter and a fourth-generation saddle designer to answer some of these questions?
Did you know that the USEA Foundation awards over 150 grants each year to deserving individuals who are involved in the sport of eventing? With grants that assist riders with accomplishing their competition goals, grants geared toward licensed officials, grants that are specific to continuing education for coaches, grants that assist competitions with obtaining frangible technology, and so much more, there really is a grant opportunity available to almost anyone!
With the start of the New Year just days away, now is the time to consider how your actions can have a positive impact on the sport of eventing in 2025.
