For the second year Merial is returning as the title sponsor of the Advanced Class at the USEA American Eventing Championships. With Merial’s generous support $20,000 will be up for grabs in the Advanced Class at this year’s AEC.

Last year over 50 horses and riders contested the Merial Advanced Class at the AEC which served as the mandatory outing for the 2010 World Equestrian Games. At the end of the weekend, Becky Holder and Courageous Comet emerged the victors.

Off The Record decided not to let Michael Jung be the only record-breaking entry at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event this week and delivered a career-best score in the Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S on Friday morning. He and Will Coleman delivered a test that received a score of 21.8, not only marking a personal best for the horse but also securing their position at the top of the leaderboard going into cross-country tomorrow.
