Jung Leads the Field at 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

By USEA | October 2, 2010

Michael Jung of Germany and La Biosthetique Sam FBW performed an outstanding test late this afternoon to take the lead with a 33.0. Italian rider Stefano Brecciaroli and Apollo van de Wendi Kurt Hoeve are in a close second with 35.5, while yesterday’s leader Simone Deitermann of Germany and Free Easy NRW round out the top three with a 36.0. Becky Holder and Courageous Comet, riding as individuals, are the top U.S. pair after their 39.3 left them in 5th. The U.S. team now sits in 7th heading into cross-country, as Germany retains their lead. Individual Standings. Nation Standings. Josh Walker photo.
