In support of the Classic Three-Day: Win 4 Lessons with Bonnie Mosser
Bonnie Mosser has decided to offer four free lessons to a non-pro preparing for his/her first full "classic" format Three Day Event this fall (either 1/2* or 1*).
This past spring I sold raffle tickets to help Bonnie raise money for her trip to Badminton. We had an amazing outpouring of support and sold ~$5,000 worth of tickets. As promised, we drew our winner the night of dressage day and were surprised to see fellow international competitor Bobby Costello's ticket pop out of the hat. We immediately texted Bobby and while he was thrilled to win he encouraged us to draw a second, more deserving winner. This winner was Carla Mcleod and her daughter Alex will be reaping the benefits of her mother's ticket purchase later this fall.
We decided to still honor Bobby's ticket and would like to do so in support of the long format 1/2* and 1*, something Bonnie really believes in.
The catch? To win this please submit a 500-1,000 word essay describing why you have decided to pursue the "ultimate" pinnacle of our sport: the full format 3-Day. Essays must be submitted to Rebecca ([email protected]) by August 15, 12pm. The winner will be notified by August 22. Please also include a summary of your qualifications (either already achieved or planned) and something that proves you are an amateur. Bonnie and Bobby will choose the winner based on the essay and your qualifications for the proposed competition (ie. we are not going to choose someone who has not yet competed at Training level because August 22nd is too close to the competitions). It is completely free to enter! This prize is for lessons only. If the winner wishes to come for any number of consecutive days there will be a $20/night stabling charge.
