The organizing team of the GMHA June H.T. regrets to announce the euthanization of a horse after completing the final phase for the division, cross-country. The horse tripped and stumbled suffering an injury. The horse was attended to by the onsite veterinarian and shipped to a veterinary hospital for further evaluation. The horse was diagnosed with a fracture, and the decision was made to humanely euthanize the horse at that time. The rider was uninjured in the incident.

At last fall's Full Moon Farm Horse Trials, 16-year-old Miriam Keefer guided her horse, Micky, over the final cross-country jump with quiet determination and a flash of joy. It was her first recognized event at the Novice level, and she placed second out of 16 competitors—qualifying her for both the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds and a long-format three-day event.
