Hannah Sue Burnett & St. Barths Clinch Second Straight Fair Hill Victory
After winning the 2009 CCI2* USEF National Championship, Hannah Sue Burnett and Richard Thompson’s St. Barths traveled back to Elkton, Maryland to reclaim their Fair Hill title…this time they took top honors in the CCI3* USEF National Championships! Burnett and the nine-year-old Thoroughbred gelding put the pressure on the leaders Nate Chambers and Rolling Stone II with their double-clear cross-country and show jumping rounds, and as the rails fell for Chambers on Sunday afternoon, the victory was theirs, and they finished their weekend on their dressage score of 49.4.
