The FEI General Assembly 2017 is taking place November 18-21, 2017, at the Sheraton Montevideo Hotel in Montevideo, Uruguay.

The FEI General Assembly acts as a platform for discussions and voting on the major decisions of the FEI and the governance of the sport. It is held in a different location every year.
The FEI General Assembly governs the overall direction, development and management of the FEI’s disciplines worldwide. Elections are held at the FEI General Assembly and decisions are taken, by vote, on changes to FEI Statutes, long-term strategies, FEI budgets and important equestrian matters.
Eventing is on an upswing in Area IX with the addition of Mile High Horse Ranch Horse Trials in Parker, Colorado. The inaugural event will run from July 6-7 this summer. Started and organized by Mile High Horse Ranch owner Vanda Werner, the event will feature Starter through Training levels.
