The Galway Downs International Horse Trials got under way today with Tiana Coudray taking a commanding lead in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series CIC3* division. Running on a modified schedule–dressage and show jumping Friday, cross-country on Saturday–Coudray delivered a brilliant dressage test this morning aboard Ringwood Magister, her 9-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, earning a 38.7.
