Chatt Hills Rolling Out the Red Carpet for the AEC Competitors

The crew at Chatt Hills Eventing in Fairburn, Georgia has been hard at work preparing the site for their upcoming season, which includes playing host to the 2010-2012 USEA American Eventing Championships, beginning this September. Check out the photo gallery to see a sneak peek of the fantastic stabling area and cross-country jumps!

Neat little judge’s stands…because we want to make sure the judges are feeling happy and comfortable during the dressage tests

The future rings will be lined with trees, providing much needed shade during those sweltering Georgia summers!

The competition stabling allows for ample room to negotiate rigs and set up shop.

One of the best parts about the construction of the competition stabling, is that the roof ledge is far enough away from the stalls, so that when it rains (*knock on wood*), there isn’t a swamp in the aisle. Love it! No one wants a soggy saddle.

The AEC competitors are going to love this venue, everyone from the Beginner Novice Juniors all the way to the WEG horses competing in the final Mandatory Outing!

There’s always work to be done – Chatt Hills building crew finalizing all the construction details.

Fantastic stall design lets the ponies poke their heads out to chat with their friends and be a part of the action.

The on-site course builders have stayed busy this winter with new cross-country jump construction.

Chatt Hills is advancing the Advanced course! Once finished, these beauties will head out to the scenic, rolling course in anticipation of the action.

Defender U.S. Eventing Team Takes Second in FEI Eventing Nations Cup Bicton CCIO4*-NC-S

The Defender U.S. Eventing Team secured a well-earned podium finish in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup CCIO4*-S hosted in Bicton, Great Britain. The team completed the weekend on a team total of 132.9, with Jenny Caras and Sommersby finishing as the highest placed U.S. combination individually in 10th on a 39.4.
