The Communication Alliance to Network Thoroughbred Ex-Racehorses (CANTER) is currently holding their fall online auction to benefit CANTER Mid-Atlantic. The auction is chock full of fun goods, lessons, tack, services, and much more! This is a great way to get started on your holiday shopping and benefit a fantastic cause.
CANTER started as a solution to help racehorses find new careers by connecting buyers and sellers through posting racehorses for sale on the Internet. The program quickly became a national web-based phenomenon. Since the first CANTER Michigan program started in 1997, it and has grown to include chapters in California, Illinois, the Mid Atlantic Region, the New England Region, Ohio and Pennsylvania. All the CANTER programs are all-volunteer organizations with 501c3 non profit status.

The USEA is saddened to share the passing of Dr. J. Allen Leslie DVM, a distinguished veterinarian, who died peacefully on April 3 surrounded by family and loved ones at his farm in Christiana, Pennsylvania. He was 84.
