Bit of Britain/USEA AEC Only Three Weeks Away!

By USEA | August 20, 2009

Over 200 competitors are already entered to ride in the 2009 Bit of Britain/USEA American Eventing Championships at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL. Do you wish that you could participate in the Championships? Well you still can because there are still almost two weeks left until closing day! Get those entries submitted so you can compete at the last AEC held at Lamplight.

Some of the top competitors in the United States are competing this year at the AEC including Phillip Dutton, Buck Davidson, Leslie Law, and Jennie Brannigan. Buck and Phillip are currently sitting in the top two places on the USEA Leaderboard with Leslie and Jennie not far behind in fourth and tenth places respectively. Buck and Phillip will also be freshly home from representing the United States at the Burghley Three-Day Event in England. Riding at the AEC is an amazing opportunity to compete alongside eventing superstars.

In addition to putting the final polish on your riding, you better start saving some extra pocket money as the AEC is going to have some fabulous vendors showcasing their amazing array of products. Title sponsor Bit of Britain will be having their mobile tack store on site along with many faithful and brand new AEC sponsors. First time AEC sponsors, Five Star Tack and RevitaVet will both be present, so check out some exciting new products. The USEA is so grateful to all our wonderful sponsors who donated superb prizes that should make the 2009 AEC winners very happy campers!

If competing with top competitors, having fabulous shopping opportunities, and the chance to win a trailerful of prizes has not convinced you yet to send in your entries then how about knowing that the AEC benefits Riding For A Cure? Riding For a Cure is a unique non-profit that gathers equestrians together to raise money for a common cause, finding a cure for cancer and the 2009 AEC has partnered with them to help out with this very important cause.

Slap a stamp on your entries, sign up for some extra lessons, teach your dog a new trick for the AEC dog show, and get excited for the fabulous parties because the 2009 AEC are just around the corner!
