ShowConnect has continued to evolve this summer, with a round of exciting updates designed to help event organizers manage entries more efficiently, communicate more clearly with riders and spectators, and reduce the friction in every phase of an event. These May and June improvements reflect what you’ve asked for—better visibility, faster setup tools, and smoother importing and scoring workflows.

Here’s a full look at what’s been enhanced over the past two months:

1. Easier Imports, Smarter Entry Tools

Managing early fees and special divisions just got easier with a series of new import and entry features:

• Early Bird Fees via Xentry: You can now import early bird pricing from Xentry, helping you apply time-sensitive fees with less manual effort.
• Opportunity Event Horse Division Imports: Entries for this specialized division can now be included seamlessly during Xentry import.
• Refined Division Editing: Adding, editing, or splitting divisions now works more smoothly, with better tracking of associated entries and fees.

These updates help streamline your entry workflows so you can spend more time managing the event—and less time troubleshooting.

2. Enhanced Public Calendar & Facility Visibility

Give your riders and attendees a clearer view of the venue before they arrive:

• Facility & Stable Maps on the Public Calendar: Upload and display your maps directly on the public event calendar to help competitors navigate the grounds with confidence.

3. Stronger Scoring, Results & Post-Show Reporting

Scoring accuracy and transparency continues to be a focus for ShowConnect:

• Dangerous Riding Scores Now Fully Integrated: These are now shown across the board—from public scoring to post-show results, and everything in between.
• Improved Ride Orders and Sorting: Cross-country and show jumping ride orders now appear in the correct sequence, and scoring views now rank from worst to best score for easier results navigation.
• Scores Stay Put: We’ve strengthened how scores are saved when ride times change or riders are edited, reducing the risk of losing data mid-process.
• Public Scoring Views Updated: Non-compete divisions are now hidden from public view, and phase letter codes display more clearly in detailed scoring.

4. Scheduling Gets Smarter

We know scheduling is where a lot of the real-time decision-making happens. That’s why we’ve made several behind-the-scenes upgrades:

• Improved Handling of Unscheduled Phases: Tools like conflict checking now work even when phases haven’t yet been scheduled.
• Accurate Rider Filtering: Scheduling tools now correctly exclude waitlisted or pending riders from views and reports.

These changes give you more confidence that your scheduling data is clean, accurate, and easy to update.

5. Division Setup & Obstacle Management Simplified

Course setup has been fine-tuned for speed and flexibility:

• Add Obstacles at the End, Then Auto-Sort: You can now add obstacles quickly at the end of the list, and they’ll automatically organize by effort number.
• Phase Order Not Required to Save: Basic division info can now be saved even before phase orders are defined—giving you more flexibility during early setup.

6. Billing and Reporting Tweaks for a Smoother Experience

• Billing Navigation Enhanced: The "Invoice Finished" button now takes you back to the main billing screen with your filters intact.
• Age Calculation Improvements: Rider age is now accurately reflected in Check-In reports and packet label forms.

7. Under-the-Hood Optimizations

We’ve been steadily addressing performance and usability pain points based on feedback from organizers like you:

• Better formatting across all printed reports
• Real-time improvements to scoring tabs and Save buttons
• Elapsed time, penalty displays, and ride order updates made clearer
• Faster interface loading and reduced accidental double-clicks

These aren’t just bug fixes—they’re focused refinements that make your day-to-day use of ShowConnect faster, more intuitive, and more reliable.
