Awards Presentations and Special Functions at the 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention

The 2022 United States Eventing Association (USEA) Annual Meeting & Convention in Savannah, Georgia is a time to celebrate the incredible achievements and memories made by our members throughout the year. During the convention, the USEA will shine a spotlight on the national awards winners, grant recipients and eventing legends during three separate events: the USEA Year End Awards Luncheon, the USEA Annual Meeting of Members Luncheon and the 8th edition of the USEA’s Eventing Hall of Fame Gala. With so many celebrations taking place in one packed weekend, it may be hard to decide which you want to attend. Keep reading for all you need to know to on these three uniquely special events!

Awards celebrations at the 2022 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention will start with the USEA Year End Awards Luncheon on Friday, December 9 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. in Regency Ballroom A-F of the Hyatt Regency Savannah Hotel. During the luncheon, host Jim Wolf will assist in presenting awards to the majority of the leaderboard champions, grant recipients and appreciation award winners. The Awards Ceremony luncheon is a ticketed event, and all interested parties will need a separate Awards Luncheon Ticket to attend, which costs $80 and can be purchased one on the USEA website. Limited availability tickets may also be purchased on-site at Convention Registration in the Mezzanine. For a full list of awards presented during the Friday Awards luncheon, read below.

Celebrations will continue Saturday, December 10 at 12:00 p.m.. during the USEA Annual Meeting of Members Luncheon and Keynote Presentation, where the Governor’s Cups, the Andrew H. Popiel Memorial Trophy and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented. All convention attendees are encouraged to come to Regency Ballroom A-F for the luncheon, as one complimentary ticket to this event is included with every Full or Saturday only registration tickets. Additional Meeting of Members Luncheon Tickets can be purchased for $60.

Finally, the pinnacle event of the weekend will cap off on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. with the 8th edition of the USEA’s Eventing Hall of Fame Gala. Join the USEA as we induct another class of eventing legends in the Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees are Janie Atkinson, Trish Gilbert, Col. Harry Chamberlin, Sally O’Connor and Eagle Lion. A Hall of Fame Dinner Ticket is required to attend this event. A single dinner ticket can be purchased for $115, or a table for 8 people is $920 and a table for 10 people is $1,150. Please purchase dinner tickets in advance here. This event may not have availability to purchase on-site, as seating will be limited.

USEF Announces Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Eventing Nations Cup Poland CCIO4*-NC-S

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Poland CCIO4*-NC-S at the Strzegom Horse Trials (Poland) from June 21-25, 2023. The team will be under the direction of USEF Eventing Emerging and Development Coach Leslie Law.

Become a YEH Judge: USEA Launches YEH New Judge Education Program

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is excited to announce the launch of the USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) New Judge Education Program. Qualifying candidates, who are no longer required to hold a USEF judge’s license, will be encouraged to sign up to participate in the YEH New Judge Education Program to receive certification to judge the Jumping and Galloping phases of Young Event Horse competitions.
