The North American Junior/Young Riders Championships Journey – Part 1

My name is Missy Miller and I am 21 years old, and yes, I am completely distraught over my young rider years coming to a close. This will be my fourth time competing at NAJYRC. I participated in the 1* team competition with my late partner, Leprechauns Rowdy Boy, in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The star of my show is of course, my horse, TSF Amazing Grace.

Rider Pledges to Support USEA Equine Cardiovascular Study

I have always thought that completing a challenging course at a show is equivalent to being on top of the world. I doubt I am alone in this belief. I’d like to say that I am unaware of the opposite feeling, but I do believe I have experienced something close. Going back to the barn with out your horse is something I would never wish on anybody.
