The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is proud to announce the first class of USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) Judges have completed their certifications through the YEH New Judge Education Program, which was led by YEH faculty member, Marilyn Payne.

Day 3 of the USEA Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) Symposium at Galway Downs was all about correct cross-country position after an informative discussion from sports psychologist Natalie Hummel.

From Starter all the way to the top of the sport, the rider’s ability to identify and influence the rhythm, relaxation, balance, straightness, and adjustability of their horse is key, whether you’re riding on the flat or over fences.

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) and the USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) Committee regretfully announce that the 2025 YEH Symposium, planned for Monday, Feb. 17 in Ocala, Florida, has been cancelled. Following the great success of the event in 2024 and due to unforeseen changes in venue availability, the YEH Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming educational event to ensure that the quality of the symposium is not sacrificed.

Each year, the USEA Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) brings aspiring and certified coaches together for the ECP Symposium. The goal of the Symposium is to exchange ideas and techniques about teaching horses and riders, all while following the philosophy of correct basics on the flat and over fences.

For the first time, the USEA Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) Symposium has headed west! This year's educational experience will take place in Temecula, California, at Galway Downs starting Tuesday, Jan. 14 through Thursday, Jan. 16 and provide an in-depth dive into the mentality of coaching for coaches for all of its attendees.

The 2025 USEA Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) Symposium, Hosted by Galway Downs is just one week away, and the USEA is proud to present the list of ECP Faculty that will be on site leading this three-day, immersive educational experience. On Jan. 14-16, eventing enthusiasts will convene in Temecula, California, to learn how coaches can hone their evaluation skills at all levels by identifying the correct, incremental steps of progression needed for each individual horse and rider combination. Bringing along a young horse is such a special process for everyone involved. For the first time, the annual USEA ECP Symposium will be heading West to offer this three-day, immersive educational experience to a wider audience of interested candidates. On Jan. 14-16, 2025, the ECP Symposium will be hosted by Galway Downs in Temecula, California, and all are encouraged to attend.
