Volunteering at the 2020 AEC

Get a front row seat at the 2020 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC) by volunteering! Volunteers are needed on Monday, August 24 through Sunday, August 30 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. There will be no spectators allowed this year, but volunteering is a wonderful alternative that will still allow you to experience the event.

Some Like It Hot (2001-2020)

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is sad to report that Some Like It Hot collapsed and died on Saturday, July 4 at the Winona Horse Trials in Hanoverton, Ohio. Some Like It Hot was a 19-year-old Thoroughbred mare of unrecorded breeding owned by Ellie Celarek.

Bromont CCI and FEI Eventing Nations Cup August Dates Set To Change

Sue Ockendon, organizer of the MARS Bromont CCI Three-Day Event and the FEI Eventing Nations Cup announced today that the event has decided to consider dates further along the calendar. The COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for Bromont to confirm that it would be possible for competitors to travel on August 15-18.

USEA Offering Open Modified Division at 2020 AEC

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) Board of Governors previously authorized a full Modified level to be offered at the 2020 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds. The intent was to help create interest in the new level for competitors and AEC qualifying competitions. Since that decision, the organizing team has been working to install a full Modified course at the AEC in 2020. Initially the focus was to create a Modified Rider division, and then to expand the division offerings in future years as more qualifying competitions were made available across the country. However, the USEA has been receiving a substantial number of requests to open up the Modified level at the 2020 AEC.
