2022 USEF Eventing Dressage Tests Available Now!
*The Training B test has been updated as of 9/20/2021 to correct a misprint on movement #15.
US Equestrian (USEF) and the United States Eventing Association (USEA) have announced the publication of the new 2022 USEF Eventing Dressage Tests for Beginner Novice through Advanced which will be used from December 1, 2021 through November 30, 2025.
The tests are published on the USEA website and can be found below and at the bottom of the current test page. The digital PDF versions of the judge’s copies of the tests will be available for purchase on the ShopUSEA website.
2022 USEF Dressage Tests
Beginner Novice: Test A | Test B
Novice: Test A | Test B | Novice Three-Day
Training: Test A | Test B | Training Three-Day
Modified: Test A | Test B | Test C | Modified Three-Day
Preliminary: Test A | Test B | Test C | Preliminary Three-Day
Intermediate: Test A | Test B | Test C
What can you expect from these new tests? One change is the addition of a Test C at the Modified through Intermediate level, allowing competitions the opportunity to utilize three different tests throughout the competition season.
The 2022 USEF Intermediate Test C, which is written for use in a 20x40 arena, may only be used for eventing competitions that demonstrate a topographical or logistical hardship which renders the venue unable to assemble a 20x60 arena in the designated competition area. The USEA Classic Series also has new tests for 2022 for the Novice through Preliminary level. Gear up for one of the 2022 USEA Classic Series competitions now by reviewing and practicing your Classic Series test!

Area VI’s Harvest Renfro, 13, and her pony, Take That, or “Robbie,” recently won their first blue ribbon at Introductory at Ram Tap’s February Horse Trials (Fresno, California) on their score of 43.9. Harvest’s accomplishment was even more impressive because she was competing in an open class.
