The 2017 USEA Annual Meeting and Convention is coming and we hope to see you there! Join us in Long Beach, California, December 6-10 for a long weekend discussing, learning about, and celebrating eventing.

This is a special weekend that everyone can enjoy, and there are countless lectures and presentations on the future of the sport, horse health, rider safety, veterinary medicine, and much more. Participants at the USEA Annual Meeting and Convention are welcome to attend as many meetings and presentations as they like.

The focus of this year’s Convention is on event organizers. Without the event organizers we would not have all the well-run events that we have across the United States, and organizers are typically the first people to arrive and the last to leave the events to make sure that all the small details of an event are running smoothly.

The USEA Annual Meeting and Convention is a great opportunity to meet the influential members of the sport of eventing and get a first-hand look at the newest developments of the sport. We gather to celebrate another great year of eventing. Here are some highlights that you don’t want to miss:

USEA Board of Governors’ Reception Presented by USEA and Area VI Cocktails Presented by Devoucoux
In the true eventing spirit of good times, good food, and good friends, the Board of Governors and Area VI will welcome everyone to the 2017 USEA Annual Meeting and Convention with a welcome reception. Meet members of the USEA Board of Governors and catch up with friends before heading out to enjoy local flavor of Long Beach. The welcome reception will be held on Thursday, December 7, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Shuttle services back to the hotel will start at 8:30 p.m.
