USEA Renews Partnership with #WeRideTogether to Support Safer Sport Initiatives
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its educational partnership with #WeRideTogether, a nonprofit organization dedicated to safeguarding athletes and promoting healthy sport environments.
As an Official USEA Education Partner #WeRideTogether will continue supporting key USEA programs as a Contributing Sponsor of the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC), the USEA Intercollegiate and Interscholastic Eventing Championships, the USEA Emerging Athletes U21 (EA21) Program, and the USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) Program. This collaboration works towards providing educational resources, sharing awareness initiatives, and to encourage positive conversations surrounding athlete well-being and safeguarding in equestrian sport.

Founded in 2021, #WeRideTogether began as an educational awareness campaign designed to empower the equestrian community through conversations about abuse prevention, healthy training environments, and athlete welfare. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, #WeRideTogether has expanded its mission to serve athletes across all sports by providing free safeguarding education, prevention resources, and organizational consulting.

Founded in 2021, #WeRideTogether started as an awareness campaign and educational website designed to empower, inform and unite the equestrian community around sexual misconduct prevention and create healthy training environments for all sports. Showcasing powerful first-person interviews from sexual abuse survivors, #WeRideTogether promotes transparent dialogue around sexual misconduct, raises awareness for the many forms grooming and abuse can take, and helps diminish the stigma and fear of coming forward by giving survivors a safe platform to share their voices.
