Six events remain in the 2011 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series, so there are plenty of opportunities to earn your place on the Gold Cup leaderboard. Next up, the Gold Cup heads across the country to the Galway Downs Horse Trials in Temecula, California on March 31 where the CIC3* will serve as the designated Gold Cup division. The current keeper of the cup is west coaster, Jennifer Wooten-Dafoe and The Good Witch. The pair is certain to try and defend their title to earn this year’s $20,000 grand prize.

The following weekend the Gold Cup heads back to the east coast where riders in the Advanced Division at The Fork Horse Trials in Norwood, North Carolina will have their chance to take home points for a top spot on the Gold Cup leaderboard. Twenty riders are already entered in the Advanced Division including the current second placed pair, Boyd Martin and Neville Bardos, as well as Olympians, Phillip Dutton, Kim Severson, and Mara DePuy.
The 2011 Gold Cup Season is rounded out with CIC3* divisions at Twin Rivers Horse Trials, The Event at Rebecca Farm, and Richland Park Horse Trials before the grand finale at the USEA American Eventing Championships in the Merial Advanced Division.
