The Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event saw 123 horse-and-rider combinations competing in four divisions over four days at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, New Jersey. It was an exciting weekend of competition that saw a new face at the top of the CCI4*-L leaderboard once the dust had settled.
The final day of the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, New Jersey dawned cold, rainy, and windy, but even the bad weather couldn’t keep Fylicia Barr and Galloway Sunrise (Duty Officer x Coco Chanel) down.
It’s a cold, wet, and windy day at the New Jersey Horse Park in Allentown, New Jersey for the final day of the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event. The final horse inspection took place this morning, and a total of 26 horses between the CCI3*-L and CCI4*-L came forward to present to the ground jury.
After a busy day of show jumping and cross-country for the CCI4*-S and CCI3*-S divisions at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, New Jersey, two riders rose above the rest to take home their division titles.
Captain Mark Phillips is in his third year of course designing for the four-star level at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event with course builder and co-organizer Morgan Rowsell serving as the designer for the three-star level. There are several new combinations in comparison to last year’s course where bold and accurate riding will be essential.
The second day of competition at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, New Jersey featured dressage for the CCI3*-L and CCI4*-L divisions. Running concurrently in the Grand Prix Arena at the Horse Park of New Jersey, the 17 horses in the CCI3*-L and 18 horses in the CCI4*-L strutted their stuff in the sandbox in front of their respective judges.
An unseasonably cold and windy day greeted riders on the first day of competition at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event in Allentown, New Jersey. Twenty-nine pairs came forward in the CCI4*-S in front of judges Sue Baxter (GBR), Jo Young (CAN), and Wayne Quarles (USA) to perform their dressage tests, while the CCI3*-S division saw the first 46 pairs trot down centerline for judges Robert Stevenson (USA), Valerie Vizcarrando-Pride (USA), and Janice Conlon (USA).
The Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event kicked off this afternoon at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown, N.J. with the first horse inspection for the CCI3*-L and CCI4*-L divisions.
