William Coleman and Off the Record, the sole U.S. representatives in the Tattersalls Horse Trials CCI4*-L, were sitting in sixth place following dressage, but today's double-clear cross-country round saw the Syndicate owned 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (VDL Arkansas x Drumagoland Bay) jump into the lead. Coleman will complete his weekend with show jumping tomorrow at 3:30 local time and he doesn't have a rail in hand to take the win.
Large crowds enjoyed thrilling cross-country and show jumping action today as well as a very busy country fair at Tattersalls International Horse Trials & Country Fair today where ideal conditions brought in crowds of almost 14,000 to the historic 100-acre estate in the Co Meath countryside.
