Equestrian Arts Institute’s Junior Eventing Team (JETS) is comprised of two strings, determined by skill level. The JETS 1st String is composed of individuals competing at BN and above in Horse Trials, Combined Tests as well as schooling a minimum of 3’0”. The JETS 2nd String is composed of individuals just starting out in Horse Trials (maiden level) and are schooling 2’0-2’6”. The Senior Eventing Team is comprised of Senior (ages 23+) who are competing at all levels in Horse Trials and Combined Tests as well asschooling a min of 2’3”.
Equestrian Arts Institute is a full service riding school specializing in the art of Dressage and Eventing. We offer boarding and training packages, training, and lessons programs (from beginner through Preliminary level) which are customized to the individual needs of our clients. Our riding facilities include two dressage arenas (1-small, 1-standard), an indoor riding hall, a stadium jumping arena (with an RT Track), and miles of trails and fields for conditioning work. Our equine facilities include a 10-stall Main barn, 2 wash stalls (hot/cold water), farriers station, two tack rooms, plus 20 additional stalls for leasors and staff horses.
Equestrian Arts Institute’s Head Instructor, Toney Massinople is an Honors Graduate from Morven Park International Equestrian Institute. Toney has competed through Intermediate level eventing (schooling Advanced) and through Prix St. Georges in dressage. Toney’s training methods are from the old school (based in the classicial method of teaching), where long-reining and in-hand work are greatly employed. As an instructor, Toney holds each student accountable for the knowledge level he/she has gained. Toney allows the horse and rider to show when he/she is ready to progress to the next level, therefore gaining not only trust, but creating individuals that are grounded in the basics of their current level, before progressing onto new information.
