Klimke Goes Clear In Luhmühlen

Ingrid Klimke (GER) and Butts Abraxxas were fast and clear around Capt. Mark Phillips cross-country course in Luhmühlen to retain their overnight lead. U.S. rider Allison Springer, aboard Arthur, dropped from second place to 15th after 20 time faults. Fellow Americans Jennifer Wooten-Dafoe had a clean trip aboard The Good Witch, picking up only time faults to remain in 25th; Michael Pollard withdrew Wonderful Will prior to the start of cross-country.
