Individual Tickets for FEI World Equestrian Games Tryon 2018 on Sale Wednesday, May 2

Individual competition tickets for the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 (WEG) will go on sale on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Ticket prices and the event schedule for the Games, which are set for September 11 through September 23, 2018, are available online at www.Tryon2018.com. Individual competition tickets are available for the disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Para-Equestrian Dressage, Eventing, Driving, Reining, Vaulting and Endurance. Individual competition tickets range in price from $20 to $175.

With all competitions happening onsite at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC), attendees can come for the day, a week, or the entire Games. Tickets have been in high demand since the October launch of package ticket sales.

Mark Bellissimo, Founder and CEO of Tryon International Equestrian Center, is planning for a sellout event.

"We anticipate a sold-out event and are working aggressively toward that goal. The WEG is expected to be the largest sporting event in the United States and fourth largest in the world in 2018 and should be on everyone's to-do list for this year. This is a can't-miss event for 2018," said Bellissimo.

Held every four years alternating with the Olympic Games, the FEI World Equestrian Games™ crowns the world's best athletes and horses as the ultimate world champions in the equestrian disciplines of Jumping, Dressage and Para-Equestrian Dressage, Eventing, Driving, Reining, Vaulting and Endurance. Horse and rider combinations from more than 70 nations are expected to compete in the massive 12-day event.

Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony tickets will be sold separately. General Grounds Day Passes will be sold that allow access to the venue to experience the trade fair, event expo, as well as equestrian demonstrations, and will be sold three months prior to the event.

About the FEI World Equestrian Games™

The FEI World Equestrian Games™, held every four years in the middle of the Olympic cycle, is the property of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), the world governing body for horse sport recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Great Britain's Ingham & Banzai du Loir Take the Early Lead at Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L

Great Britain’s Yasmin Ingham and Banzai du Loir found themselves in a familiar position today at the top of the leaderboard after dressage at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event, scoring a 26.0. A year ago, Ingham and “Banzai” led the field heading into cross-country after Friday’s dressage, but they drew an earlier start this year, and Ingham’s got a few more challengers to come tomorrow.

The 2024 K3DE Daily: Dressage Day 1

Let the fun and games begin! This morning kicks off the official start of competition at the 2024 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event (K3DE). The hefty four-star field is the first to set foot in the Rolex Stadium starting at 8:00 a.m. Last year we saw 49 four-star pairs in this division, but this year there are 63 pairs in the field.
