Have You Always Wanted a Pro on Your Team?
Surefire Farm Horse Trials and the Professional Riders Organization are very pleased to announce the kick-off of the inaugural PRO/AM Team Competition Series at the Surefire Farm Horse Trials, to be held the weekend of June 26-27 in Purcellville, Va. The PRO/AM Team Competition pairs a professional rider with a team of three to four junior/young riders and/or adult riders. PRO/AM Teams vie for prizes and ribbons in a scorecard competition. Each team member receives a course walk and coaching tips from their PRO, a team photo and a gift just for entering the team competition.
The Surefire Horse Trials Team Competition will take place both Saturday and Sunday with Beginner Novice, Novice and Training riders and their PRO teammate competing. Teams of riders can choose their PRO in advance, or enter as individuals to be paired with a PRO rider by the event organizers.
Held in an area that is home to one of the largest concentrations of international-caliber event riders in the country, Surefire Farm Horse Trials has traditionally attracted top professionals as well as hundreds of amateur riders to their annual competition, promising an exciting PRO/AM rivalry.
