Grand Oaks Horse Trials Cancelled

By Grand Oaks Resort - Edited Press Release

Due to the lack of entries, we have decided to cancel the Grand Oaks Horse Trials scheduled to run on November 19-21, 2018. We feel strongly the date being on a holiday weekend was the biggest factor.

We will refund all entry fees in full and will offer free schooling on that weekend for those who had entered the event.

We are looking forward to hosting our January Horse Trials and are working hard to find a better date for our fall event.

Grid Pro Quo with Alyssa Peterson

From the time we begin jumping, we are always working on perfecting the canter. Throughout my career I’ve been lucky to train with a variety of top professionals and each had their tried and true method for developing the right canter to jump a clear round. The best instructors have their own methods for helping their students recognize this “perfect” canter.
