- Thank you to Mary at the Pony Club Offices here in Lexington for helping to put this show together.
- We did have some news items this week from around the world…
- Mark Todd and Gandalf have missed the cut for Equestrian Sports New Zealand‘s 2010 eventing squad.
- Jersey Fresh event, which was in danger of being canceled this year, definitely will be held in 2010. The future of the 2 and 3-star event was a question mark this May due to financial instability. But the New Jersey Department of Agriculture confirmed last week that the event will take place over Mother’s Day weekend next year.

- British Eventing (BE) is hosting a series of eventing safety forums around the country this month to share ideas with the public. BE’s national safety officer Jonathan Clissold will be presenting at all four forums, joined by BE’s national safety committee chairman Iain Graham and course-designer Adrian Ditcham.
- The USEA Youth Board will be awarding Youth Board Advancement Grants at the end of this summer to two deserving Junior or Young Riders. These grants will provide an opportunity for each selected rider to spend two weeks working and training with either Gina Miles of Boyd Martin.

- We were joined by three great Pony Clubbers this week for the round table. Thanks to all of you:
- Meredith Baker – Chair of the National Youth Board and member of the Maryland Region Pony Club. Here is a picture of Meredith riding Wrabbit:

- Chaleise J. Everly of the Big Walnut Creek Pony Club in the Heartland Region.
