Australian born, Boyd Martin, shares his excitement that the FEI has approved his U.S. citizenship so that he can now vie for a place on the U.S. eventing squad. Plus, Debbie Adams joins us to tell us why the Spalding Labs/USEA Young Event Horse Program can help the future of the sport. Listen in.

• The indefatigable British-based Kiwi Andrew Nicholson rode the grey Avebury to victory at the Saumur CCI 3 Star in France. See all the results.
• HORSE Sport Ireland has announced that no fewer than eight Olympic medalists – who between them have won 18 Olympic medals are competing at Tattersalls International Three-Day Event in County Meath this weekend.
• HORSE Sport Ireland has announced that another international event will take place in Ireland this year. Ballinacoola Horse Trials, was voted last autumn by the members of Eventing Ireland as the best national one day event in the country.
• The Adelaide Four Star Event scheduled for November 13-16th in Australia is suffering from the economic recession and undergoing an aggressive drive to secure enough sponsorship to survive, according to the Event Director Gill Rolton.
• The 2009 Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North (NAJYRC) will continue to be supported by the United States Eventing Association. For the third consecutive year, the USEA will serve as the Title Sponsor of the Eventing Championships.
• All three Eventing High Performance Training Lists have been updated following the spring competition season. See the complete Training Lists here.
