Mt. Pleasant, Utah - The organizers of The Event at Skyline are saddened to report that Huey Two, a 23-year-old Thoroughbred gelding owned by Christian Eagles and ridden by Annika Ohran in the Open Novice A division experienced a fall during warm-up and Huey Two was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Annika Ohran received minor injuries in the fall.
On-site veterinarians were able to immediately attend to Huey Two on location. Further evaluation and diagnosis were conducted shortly after.
The USEA extends our sincere condolences to all of Huey Two's connections.
