The Millbrook Horse Trials Board of Directors shares with great sadness that Could’ve Ben And Jerrys, a 19-year-old Zangersheide gelding ridden and owned by Morgan McGrath, collapsed and died after completing the cross-country course in the Open Preliminary division.

The horse is being taken to the Cornell University Equine Hospital for necropsy examination. Morgan was uninjured.

Further inquiries should be directed to USEA CEO Rob Burk at 703-779-9895.

The Millbrook Horse Trials and the USEA extend our condolences to all of Morgan and Could’ve Ben and Jerry’s connections.
