Call for Official Photographer and Videographer/Live Stream Service Providers at the 2024 USEA AEC

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC) is the annual national championship for every level of the Olympic equestrian sport of eventing. The USEA is officially accepting bids for the following service providers at the 2024 USEA AEC which takes place Aug. 27—Sept. 1, 2024 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky:

  • Official Photographer
  • Official Videographer/Live Stream Service Provider

Bids should be submitted to Meagan DeLisle, USEA Media and Communications Manager, at [email protected] no later than Jan. 31, 2024.

Official Photographer Requirements

  • Be able to staff a team with the capability of shooting 800+ riders in all three disciplines across all days of competition.
  • Provide the ability to view photos, whether onsite or online, for all competitors during the competition.
  • Provide a variety of package offerings to ensure competitors have the ability to obtain photos at various price points.
  • Work with the USEA onsite to fulfill same-day photo requests as needed.
  • Be able to provide their own internet needs during the competition.

Official Videographer/Live Stream Service Provider Requirements

  • Have the ability to film video and/or livestream 800+ riders in all three disciplines across all days of competition.
  • Provide the ability for all competitors to view and purchase video footage, whether onsite or online, within a timely manner.
  • Provide a variety of package offerings to ensure competitors have the ability to obtain videos at various price points.
  • Work with the USEA onsite to fulfill same-day video requests as needed.
  • Be able to provide their own internet needs during the competition.
  • Have the ability to provide quality live stream services that feature guest speakers, sponsor branding, and other requests in addition to competition footage.

About the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC)

The USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC), presented by Nutrena Feeds, is the pinnacle of the sport at the national levels. Held annually, the best junior, adult amateur, and professional competitors gather to vie for national championship titles at every level from Beginner Novice to Advanced. This ultimate test of horse and rider draws hundreds of combinations from around the country to compete for fabulous prizes, a piece of the substantial prize money, and the chance to be named the National Champion at their respective levels. In fact, the 2021 AEC garnered over 1,000 entries and now stands as the largest eventing competition in North American history.
