Lexington, Kentucky based US Olympian and first-time Bromont competitor, Liz Halliday-Sharp marked MARS Bromont CCI dressage day one with two firsts and a third at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park in picturesque Bromont, Quebec.

Bromont CCI-S Horse Trials on the calendar for August 13th to 15th, 2021 are pleased to announce that starting August 9th, Canada is expected to begin allowing entry to US citizens and permanent residents who are currently residing in the United States.

Lower entries due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions and a bit of wet weather leading up to the Bromont CCI-S did nothing to hold back the enthusiasm for this competition. The weather held, autumn colors were stunning, and the competition was friendly between riders who were able to attend from across Ontario and Quebec.

Sue Ockendon, organizer of the MARS Bromont CCI Three-Day Event and the FEI Eventing Nations Cup announced today that the event has decided to consider dates further along the calendar. The COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for Bromont to confirm that it would be possible for competitors to travel on August 15-18.

Bromont Horse Trials Inc, organizers of the MARS Equestrian Bromont CCI Three-Day Event scheduled for June 3 to 7 have announced the cancellation of this event for 2020. Little Bromont planned for June 13, the following weekend at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park, is also not expected to run.

Four sections got their chance in the dressage arena today at the MARS EQUESTRIAN Bromont CCI Three-Day Event in Bromont, Quebec. The CCI2*-L U25, which was the first section to complete dressage, saw Michael Pendleton (USA) move into the lead on a score of 30.30 riding Boyd Martin and Stephen Blauner’s 7-year-old Irish Sport Horse, Carlsburg (Puissance x Flame and Passion).
