VIDEO: 2013 Ocala Symposium: Show Jumping with Yogi Breisner - Part I: Training Level

On February 18 and 19, the USEA's Instructors' Certification Program hosted its annual series of educational clinics at Long Wood Farm in Ocala, Florida. Yogi Breisner, Linda Zang, and David O'Connor coached demo riders in show jumping, dressage, and cross-country, respectively. In this video, Yogi focuses on coaching at the Training level and discusses the importance of a strong foundation in developing riders and young horses. He explains his methods in both coaching and analyzing riding technique as demo riders Becka Hoos, Angel Martin, Grace Reilly, Katie O'Sullivan, and Emily Coulter rode through a show jumping exercise designed to encourage straightness and a forward ride to a fence.
