Approximate Distances : P - 3000m @ 520 mpm. M - 2800m @ 490mpm,T-2300 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 350 mpm, max. fence height 2'7", 14-16 obstacles. Starter:1600 m @ 300 mpm, max. fence height 2'3", 14 - 16 obstacles. All levels will have speed fault times. **Please check the notice boards and course maps for final distances and speeds. We use primarily portable fences. P/M/T Average for horses with some experience at this level with coffin, corner, combinations, and bank possible. N/BN may have open ditch, bank and water. Combinations possible for N/BN. N/BN and Starter courses will be average for horses with some experience at this level, inviting fences with water option for Starter. Gently rolling, open terrain. Footing will be optimized as needed by irrigating and aerovating. Cross country courses might be slightly longer for championships divisions. Cross-country course closed. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. c. It is the responsibility of the Athlete, or the parent or guardian or trainer of the junior Athlete to ensure that the headgear worn complies with appropriate safety standards for protective headgear intended for equestrian use, is properly fitted, and in good condition. The Federation, Organizer, and Licensed Officials are not required to verify compliance. d. The Federation, Organizer, and Licensed Officials make no representation or warranty, express or implied, about any protective headgear. Athletes are cautioned that death or serious injury may result despite wearing such headgear as all equestrian sports involve inherent dangerous risk. No helmet can protect against all foreseeable injuries. e. Violation of this rule at any time, at the discretion of the Ground Jury, must be penalized by issuance of a Yellow Warning Card or elimination Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. Parking pass required for all vehicles. No ATVs or dirt bikes allowed on grounds. USEA medical card/armband required: Limited supply available for purchase. We will host an intercollegiate competition in partnership with UK again in 2026, as entries allow.
