Fees

Event Fees Directory: Draw checks to FENCE Horse Trials. All horses on grounds must be entered or registered as non-competing. P: $250,T:240, N/BN:$210, Starter/Intro: $185 (USEA membership is optional for Starter and Intro) Late fee for entries received after closing: $40 Stabling: $130.00 (includes 2 bags shavings) Tack Stall: $70.00. Stall Cleaning Deposit: $50.00 (stall and tack stall must be stripped and swept clean). Grounds fee: $25.00 (non-stabled horses for entire event). Non-Competing Horse fee: $25.00 per day. Camping for the event (no tent camping): $50.00. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/stabling-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation-No refund. The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($35), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries

All entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. $40 Late fee for entries received after closing date. $50.00 NSF fee.Double entries: Not accepted. Number of entries per rider may be limited at the discretion of the Secretary. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter and Intro. Starter and Intro Test participants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Any entries not completed by the closing date will be chargeda $20 late fee, this means we must have all forms, documents, signatureand funds, or it will be considered late and will be charged the $20 late fee. Post entries accepted if space available must pay $40 late fee. (all checks/funds postmarked after close date will be charged this $40 Post entry fee). Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/stabling-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation-No refund. Awards

Prizes & 6 ribbons per division. Ribbonswill be awarded to 1st through 3rd place teams, for both the IEL and the CTC.

Stabling/Veterinarian

$130 stall from noon Fri. to 5 pm Sun. Tack stall: $70. 302 perm. stalls on grounds. No portable stalls allowed. Stall doors/initial bedding (2 bags shavings) provided. Order your additional bedding on the stabling form. Additional bedding, $9/bag. $50 stall cleaning fee required on SEPARATE CHECK. Stalls (includes tack stall) to be stripped and swept clean prior to departure. $25 grounds fee for horses not stabled at event. Veterinarian and Farrier: On grounds, # will be posted at Secretary's office.

Dressage

Test & arena sizes: All tests in small arena.P/PT-2026 USEF Preliminary Test A.T/TN-2026 USEA Training Test A. N-2026 USEA Novice Test A. BN-2026 USEA Beginner Novice Test A. Starter and Intro-2026 USEF Starter Test A . Arenas: All-weather stone dust arenas; warm-up: stone dust &/or grass.

Cross-Country

P: Approximately 2600m @ 520 mpm.PT/T: Approximately 2200m @ 450 mpm. TN/N: Approximately 1900m @ 380mpm. BN: Approximately 1500m @ 330 mpm. Starter: Approximately 1100m@ 300mpm(max. height 2'3" feet). Intro: Approximately 1000m @ 250mpm. Terrain: Hilly with possible natural water crossings. Starter course may include a water option. Cross-country course closed April 1.

Photographer - LIZ CRAWLEY PHOTOGRAPHY Cross-country course closed April 1. Show jumping and SJ warm up will both be in large arenas on all-weather stone dust footing. Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Be sure to include horse and rider experience in the appropriate place on the entry form! Food Concession Stand will be available on grounds opens. Dogs must be leashed with person attached. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.” Riders, owners, and trainers at Prelim must be USEF members or pay a show pass fee - only 1 show pass fee isallowed per year per person and it must be paid online. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
