Masterson Equestrian Trust YEH/NEH/OEH Qualifier
The USEA Opportunity Event Horse Program (OEH) was created to offer new divisions that encourage and support horses or riders to try the sport of eventing. We are happy to include this new division to our summer event.

Take exit 115 off I-75/64 toward Lexington on 922 Newtown Pike to New Circle Rd. #4 & around Lexington toward airport to exit 7, Hwy 421/Leestown Rd north to Masterson Station Park on right; or take Midway exit off I-64 to 421/Leestown Rd. Southeast to Masterson Station Park on left just outside Lexington.
Drive to the back of the park, past the soccer fields and dog park. Turn right at dead end and you will find the barn and show office on the left. Show office and barn address is 3475 Shamrock Dr.

Tentative Schedule
Tentative Schedule: 8:00 AM Dressage starts (5 Year Olds) 8:00 AM Dressage starts (4 Year Olds) Followed by NEH, OEH and Eventing Derby.
10:30 AM jumping starts with 5 year olds.

Please use USEA Xentry to enter all NEH and YEH Qualifier divisions. Eventing Derby must be entered through Bluehorseentries.com only.

FEES:
Event Fees Directory: Entries for NEH, OEH and YEH Divisions must be completed through Xentry. Eventing Derby entries completed only through Bluehorseentries.com. No mailed entries accepted
Entry:YEH $125.00 plus the $20.00 USEA Starter Fee. NEH $115 plus the $10.00 USEA Starter fee. OEH $115 plus $10 USEA Starter fee.
Entry fee includes $10 Medical Fee.
Non-compete horses: $40 Will be provided a bridle number which must be worn whenever the horse is off trailer or out of stall.
Stabling: Available Aug 8 at $35.00/night. Straw bedding only allowed. Stalls must be stripped. $35 stall cleaning deposit per stall. Please contact Organizer for more information.
Refunds: Before C.D.- less $25 admin fee. After CD - no refund unless spot can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation: No Refund.
USEA Starter Fee Refund Policy:The USEA Starter fees ($20, $10), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the first test scheduled.
Entries
USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required for YEH classes. Negative Coggins within 12 months. Entry fee includes a $25.00 non-refundable office fee.
Incomplete entries will not receive ride times. All items must be submitted before arrival on the grounds.
Horse Registration: USEA Limited or Full registration required for YEH/NEH/OEH horses.
Paper number pinnies will be used for the jump/gallop test. Riders must bring their own pinnie holders.

Jumping tests will be suitable for the age and time of year. Inviting, well designed jumps. Expect water, bank, ditch. Course open for walking at 3 PM August 8`.
There will be 5 show jumps and 10 cross country jumps for each level.

Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM standards for equestrian use and carries SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
Prior to the start of their round, only riders in YEH, NEH and OEH Divisions may show their horses the fences, including walking or trotting through the water complex. Competitors jumping any fences on the YEH competition course before their allotted ride time will be eliminated.

Ribbons for 1st though 6th place for each division. Great prizes 1 - 3 placings.

Other Information
At the end of the day, exiting via Spurr Rd is the recommended route to avoid slow traffic through the park.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
