Traveling Tips:Do not take “Alt. US Hwy. 27” (you may never get here). Some Internet mapping sites may route you to Lynn Dr. – do not turn here (dead end road with limited turnaround). If approaching from the south, do not take US Hwy 27 through Columbus (too many traffic lights).
From North:NOTE NEW DIRECTIONS DUE TO BRIDGE OUT:I‐85 south to Exit #21, I‐185 south. Exit #25, GA 18 south (left). 14 miles, Right on HWY 27 right at Kingsboro Rd. (just past Mulberry Creek). Look for Poplar Place Farm Show Entrance sign. Follow Kingsboro Rd. to end. Farm entrance ahead.
From South:I-185 north, Exit #12, Williams Rd., east (right). Straight thru stop sign, cross RR to traffic light, then north (left) on Veterans Pkwy. 12.0 mi. to left at Kingsboro Rd. (pass farm main entrance), then as above.
From East & West:US 80 to Veterans Pkwy./US 27 (exit 4) north, then as above.

USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy:The USEA Starter and D&M fee ($35), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries are accepted when received. Priority is based on “postmark date"(date on envelope or online submission date).Payment is due when entry submitted. If payment is not submitted with entry, payment must be received within 7 days or the “postmark date"may be changed to reflect the date the payment is postmarked.IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID IN FULL, OR BEEN PRE_APPROVED BY PPF DIRECTLY TO PAY THE WEEKEND OF, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE RIDE TIMES.
Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted.
Starter and Intro:Are exempt from USEA membership/horse registration. USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply to the Intro level.
Junior and Senior divisions are Rider divisions in accordance with the definition of Rider in Appendix 3 of the USEF Rules for Eventing.
XC pinny holder required.
$50 stall stripping deposit drawn on separate check is required with entry. Stall deposits can be paid online or with check.
Returned checks - $40 fee.
Changes:Any change to an entry subject to $25 fee. All change requests must be in writing (email, fax or mail). Before C.D.-change of horse and/or rider and/or division allowed. After C.D.-change of horse or rider (not both) and/or division allowed, space permitting.

Stabling/Veterinarian
Stabling:$100 per night Initial bag of bedding included. Pre-ordered shavings will be $9/bag, otherwise $10/bag.224 permanent 10' x 12' stalls w/full sliding door.A stall cleaning deposit of $50on separate check, please write rider and horse name on the memo section of stall deposit check. Stall deposits can also be paid online with entry and credit card.
Tack stalls:$150 - available only after all horses have been assigned a stall. No stabling changes without permission of secretary or $50 fine.
Grounds fee:for non-stabled and non-competing horses $50 for entire event.
Shavings:PLEASE PRE-ORDER!! Pre-ordered shavings are $9/bag. All other times shavings are $10/bag. $50 stall cleaning deposit required & must be included with entry ON A SEPARATE check or paid with online entry. Stalls need to be stripped prior to leaving. Stall deposit check will be destroyed or credit card with online entry will not be charged.

Columbus: Hampton Inn North - 12 miles (706) 256-2222. Tell them you are competing at Poplar Place for special horse show rate.
On-siteCamping:$60/night for all RV hook-ups! Dry camping $20 a night. We have 50-amp, 30-amp, and 110 hook-ups available. Limited spaces, please specify electric needs. First come, first serve! Bathroom and shower facilities available, no septic. No hook-ups allowed from the barn.

Other Information
Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
SHARPS CONTAINER: Competition management is responsible for placing Sharps containers in convenient locations on Competition grounds and replacing them when full. Competition Management may fine any individual up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. Competition management will place notice of this requirement either in its prize list or on a specific handout given to trainers on check in at the competition. See GR1210.4 for complete details and please make sure the requirements for Sharps Containers are met at this competition.
