From West NY Thruway: To I-87 Northway to exit 20. Take Rte 149 to Fort Ann, then Rt. 4 East to Rutlandthen Woodstock. Take right on Rt. 106 (before Woodstock Inn) south 6 miles to GMHA.
From South: I-91 to Ascutney, exit 8 Rt. 131 west 7 miles to Rte 106 north, 12 miles to GMHA. From East: SEE WEBSITE!

Refunds: Scratches received in writing on or before the closing date will be refunded the cost of entry fees minus a $30 office fee. GMHA will not refund credit card fees or EventEntries.com processing fees. No refunds of entry fees after the closing date. In the event the competition has to cancel, there will be no refunds. Stabling will be refunded ONLY if management can fill your stall.USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fee ($35), and the USEF admin. fees ($8), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

PleaseuseUSEA 2025Horse Trialsentry form, USEA Signature/Waiver page, GMHA Waiver (found on event webpage at www.gmhainc.org), Coggins testand proof of RABIES (certificate, vaccine record from vet invoice, or titer results w/vet note accepted), and applicable membership card copies, one check per horse/rider combination. Negative Coggins and proof of RABIES dated after 6/2/24. Divisions will be further divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. NOTE: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee. These association feesmust be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form; totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event with your entry. Entry fee includes a $30 non-refundable office fee. Entries may not be postmarked prior to the opening date. Entry Confirmation status will be posted on www.gmhainc.org and www.area1usea.org. Double entries: Not accepted. Membership: USEA membership required at Beginner Novice Level andabove. Preliminary and Modified Competitors (rider, owner, trainer, coach) must submit copies ofUSEF membership cardOR pay USEF show pass fee for each non-member. Exception: Riders and owners are eligible for one Show Pass per competition year; trainers and coaches are no longer eligible to participate under a show pass and must be active USEF members. Fees: Checks will be processed as entries are received. Bring your own pinny for slide in X-C numbers. All changes must be made in writing:mail, fax, or email acceptable.There is a $50 fee for any entry accepted after closing date (if space allows).There will be a $35 change fee for ANY change to an entry after the closing date; ex. change of horse or rider, change of division (if space allows). There is a $35 fee for any bounced checks.Incomplete Entries:$20 incomplete fee for entries that are missing Coggins/Rabies/Signatures after the closing date.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org.

Awards
Trophy &8 ribbons per division. Special Award presented to the GMHA Member with the best overall score at any level. Become a GMHA member today! TIP award for highest place TB per level (P/M/T/N/BN). Please send TIP number in with entry.
Awards will not be mailed. They will be available in a designated area on grounds for pick-up.
Stabling/Veterinarian
Stabling will be limited.155 permanent box stalls and 41 portable stalls (196 total), all with solid doors and 10x10 in size. Hay and bagged shavings available for purchase, $12 per bag shavings/$12 per hay bale.• No tack stalls available. • No refunds on stabling after the closing date, unless show management is able to fill your stall. • Stalls are to be stripped upon departure. No stall cleaning deposit is required; however, the competitor will be billed $50 for astall left dirty. Stall Stripping Services available. Sign up at the show office (cash or check only) • No non-competing horses on grounds
VETERINARIAN/FARRIER: Veterinarian: Dr. Erica Koch will be on-call Friday; on-grounds Sat & Sun. Farrier: TBD will be on-call Friday, on-grounds Sat & Sun. Phone numbers will be posted outside of the show office and listed in the event program.
Accommodations
Visit www.gmhainc.orgor www.woodstockvt.comfor accommodations list. Town of Woodstock Zoning Prohibits Camping of Any Kind (tents, trailer, camper, etc) on GMHA grounds.No grilling or open fires permitted on grounds.

Must be a GMHA member to school XC and use facility on Members' Days.Go to gmhainc.org and search Members' Days for schedule. Not a member---JOIN TODAY at gmhainc.org!
Statement regarding motorized and wheeled vehicles on XC:
No wheeled or motorized vehicles permitted on XC at any time (i.e., ATVs, motorbikes, scooters, strollers, wagons, golfcarts, etc.)
No wheeled (bicycles) or motorized vehicles, including motorized bikes, E-bikes, Segways, etc. on the XC course when XC is running (Friday and Sunday).
Bicycles and E-Bikes permitted on course walking days (Thursday, Friday only).
Strict Dog Policy: Pets must be leashed at all times, $50 fee for each off-leash occurrence.No dogs allowed on cross county course on cross country day. Horses must wear bridle number when out of stall.There is no cell phone coverage at GMHA (Wi-Fi available at show office, Upwey Barn and Youth Center), riders must wear medical arm bands only (not wrist bands).
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. COVID 19 POLICY – Please refer to GMHA Covid 19 Policy and any changes will be posted at GMHA during the event.SPECTATORS and non-essential guests are permitted but must follow masking/social distancing policy requirements in place at the time of the event. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Participants are encouraged to volunteer during the show if time allows. Sign up at www.eventingvolunteers.com or email [email protected].
SHARPS CONTAINER: Competition management is responsible for placing Sharps containers in convenient locations on Competition grounds and replacing them when full. Competition Management may fine any individual up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
