Refunds:Scratches submitted before the closing date will be refunded the Entry and Stabling fees, minus a $25 non-refundable office fee. Scratches submitted after the closing date will not be refunded. Scratches must be in writing, accepted by fax or email only.Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($35) is not subjected to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage tests.

Intercollegiate & IEL Team Challenge rosters should be submitted to Chris Donovan at[email protected]. Teams can be made up of three or four riders, and Intercollegiate schools or IEL Clubs can field multiple teams at the event. If you are individual competitor, please request to be added to a scramble team to participate.
USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all
levels, except the combined test. Combined Test participants are exempt from USEA membership, but must pay a $25 USEA non-member fee; USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply.

Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. Other Information
The Treehouse Series: including theSouthern Pines Horse Trials, theLongleaf Pine Horse Trialsin April, and theFive Points Horse Trials in September, will award High Point prizes to Horse & Rider combinations competing in the Preliminary, Modified, Training, Novice, Beginner Novice, and Starter Horse Trials levels. Compete in all 3 competitions to win.
Cross-country not open for schooling, except for scheduled schooling days. Check website for dates.No motorized vehicles on cross-country. E-Bikes and electric Bikes are permitted up until the start of the Cross-Country phase. Golf Carts are limited to roadways and designated paths.
Divisions may be divided/combined if entries warrant. State preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.Management reserves the right to limit the number of horses per rider per division.
Dogs must be leashed.
Food will be available on grounds.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
